Doug Slack: Video Producer

Doug is a seasoned broadcast professional with depth in creative development, cinematography, producing, writing and editing. Doug has produced hundreds
of hours of commercial, promotional and television show content.

Doug spent eighteen years with CHUM Television working with notable stations such as City TV, MuchMusic and A Channel. Doug won many national
and international awards for on-air promotions and television production excellence.

As Creative Director at the New VR in Barrie, Doug was responsible for every aspect of branding and promotion of the station. Doug helped launch and rebrand television stations over the years including the New VI, here in Victoria.

Doug’s production background includes creating and managing commercial production departments at two television stations, supervising production of 190 episodes of the youth based show Rogers New Reality, producing two seasons of the musical series Inside Pandora’s Box and was one of the creators of the highly memorable Speakers Corner show.
