Johanna St. Michael
With a Fine Arts Degree from UVic and over 15 years as a graphic designer and illustator, Johanna brings not only a unique blend of skills and experience, but also a passion for what she does.
She has taught Photoshop and Illustrator at the Art Institute of Vancouver [formerly CDIS] and Camosun College in Victoria for over 5 years. She has a varied background, working for software companies as an illustrator, graphic designer and media lead, creating interactive educational CD-Roms [for clients like Little Bear and Pokemon]; to working for middle to small sized design companies in Vancouver; to freelancing as a graphic designer and illustrator both in Victoria and Vancouver.
Since moving back to Victoria in 2003, she has run her own graphic design company [Decodent Dezigns] which encompasses designing for local businesses [which is how she got hooked up with Dan] and creating art deco wedding invitations and cards for clients all over North America and Europe.
