Dan Dagg

Dan DaggDan Dagg is the founder and president of Dagg Integrated Marketing Services Ltd.; which also owns Margison Brothers Printers Ltd. (Victoria's oldest surviving commercial print shop.) He has an extensive business and academic background in marketing and advertising across multiple product categories. He has led an impressive number of clients through difficult business situations.

A UBC graduate, Dan is also a Certified Advertising Agency Practitioner through the Institute of Canadian Advertising Agencies and a trained facilitator of the Pacific Institute's Investment in Excellence program.

Dan is the former Executive Vice-President and Director of Client Services at Copeland Communications. At Copeland he acted as the lead planner for clients such as Thrifty Foods, Pacific Coast Savings Credit Union, the Times Colonist newspaper, Island Farms Dairy and a multitude of other clients. In addition to supervising the thirty-five-person agency, he was directly responsible for the account services group and public relations department, as well as the agency's new business and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining Copeland in 1994, Dan spent six years at Palmer Jarvis Advertising's Vancouver office. While there, he developed his strategic capabilities, working with clients such as Canada Safeway, Woodward's Department Stores, Quest Vitamins, McDonald's Restaurants and others.
